Ensuring Compliance with IRBM E-Invoice Guidelines During System Downtime

As businesses transition to the Malaysia IRBM e-Invoice system, ensuring seamless compliance remains a priority. 1. Recommended Reattempt Within 72 Hours

In case of temporary IBRM MyInvois Server failures, users are highly encouraged to reattempt e-Invoice submission within 72 hours by using our solution once the system is restored. This proactive approach helps maintain compliance and ensures timely validation.

2. Extended Downtime: Key Compliance Steps

If the IRBM MyInvois System experiences downtime exceeding 72 hours, users should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Maintain all supporting documents to demonstrate their e-Invoice compliance efforts.
  • Follow IRBM’s guideline (Section 2.5.4.4), which acknowledges such disruptions and allows for case-by-case evaluations.
  • No Credit Note (CN) is required for correction due to transmission failures caused by IRBM server/system issues.
